Ranjit Ajit Singh Malaysia

Ranjit Ajit Singh is an experienced international capital market regulator with 25 years experience in global regulation and market development with a strong focus towards emerging market countries and Asia.

He has been Vice Chairman of the Board of IOSCO and Chair of its largest committee on Growth and Emerging Markets and was one of the two IOSCO representatives to the Financial Stability Board. He has also been Chairman of the ASEAN Capital Markets Forum. He was the former Executive Chairman of the Securities Commission Malaysia.

He is currently a Partner/Director of Centennial Group International, Washington D.C. He is a capital market expert for the International Monetary Fund and also serves as a member of the International Advisory Boards for capital markets of several countries, member of the Leadership Council of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (M'sia), member of the advisory board of the Salzburg Finance Forum, member of the Board of Sunway University, Fellow of CPA Australia and a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia.

He holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons), Master of Economics and a Doctor of Laws (honoris causa) degrees from Monash University Australia and is a professionally qualified accountant and fellow of CPA Australia.
