Jacques Potdevin

Jacque is a certified public accountant, auditor, chairman and chief executive officer of JPA, an international network of independent accountancy firms, auditors and consultants operating across 70 countries. He is based in Paris, France.

Throughout his career, Jacques has been heavily involved in the organisation and development of the accounting profession in France, having successively assumed the roles of Vice-President of a professional union of accountants and auditors, Chairman of the Regional Company of Auditors of Paris, member of the National Accounting Council then Chairman of the National Company of Auditors.

Jacques has also been regularly involved outside the institutional environment, serving finance professionals through his role as Chairman of the Compagnie des Conseils Experts Financiers from 1998 to 2001, as well as alongside companies as a member of the Board of Directors.

Jacques has a keen interest and expertise in the international market and was President of Development and International Partnerships (DDPI), within the Superior Council of the Order of Chartered Accountants, a position that he assumed from 1997 to 2005.
