Leigh Miller

Leigh Miller is Global and Americas Valuation and Business Modeling Leader for Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) at EY. Based in the firm’s New York office, he has more than 25 years of experience in the valuation of tangible and intangible assets and closely held business interests.

Leigh has prepared closely held interests for applications such as financial reporting, buy- and sell-side acquisition analyses, estate and gift tax purposes, income tax purposes, and litigation support. He also has valued businesses in a diverse array of industries. Leigh has particular expertise in statistical quantification methods for valuing intangible assets and computing economic lives of intangibles including patents, technology, software and contracts. He has successfully defended valuations before the US Internal Revenue Service. Prior to his current role, Leigh worked as an auditor for Ernst & Young’s Assurance practice.

Leigh received his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers College and his MBA from New York University. A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, he is a CPA in New Jersey and a Certified Business Appraiser. He is also a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers and the American Society of Appraisers.
