Ahmed Sabry FRICS serves as an advisor to the Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers (Taqeem) since 2014, heading its professional arm, Taqeem Academy and Valuation Consultancy Center. He leads the development of education programs and professional practices across valuation disciplines in compliance with the International Valuation Standards. He contributed in developing the Arabic version of IVS 2013, its explanations and IVS 2017 as well as Guidance Manuals for each valuation discipline; Real Estate, Business, Machinery and Equipment, All published by Taqeem.

Ahmed has over 27 years’ experience spanning from architectural design and project management to advisory services including development, strategic consultancy, market and feasibility studies as well as valuation and standard sitting. He established and headed the valuation and advisory discipline of Century 21 Qatar at 2008 prior to leading the tangible assets valuations service line in KPMG Egypt. He specialized in real estate valuations for the past 22 years and he has extensive global valuation experience acting for both private and public sector in the Middle East for various valuation purposes.

Ahmed served on the board of the Egyptian Association for Real Estate Appraisers (EAREA) till 2014. He was designated FRICS in Valuation for his significant contributions to the profession. He sits on RICS MENA Valuation Board since 2015 and is serving for IVSC Standard Review Board since 2017. He has been active in research, training, public speaking and writing articles, in the area of real estate valuation. He co-authored “Real Estate Valuation in Global Markets”, published by the Appraisal Institute (AI), in 2011.
