Richard Stewart

Richard is a Partner in Corporate Value Advisory for PwC based in Sydney, Australia.

His professional qualifications include:

- Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and the Society of Certified Practicing Accountants in Australia
- Business Valuation Specialist CAANZ

- Order of Australia Medal, 2015

During his career, Richard has worked in Sydney, Canberra, New York and London. Since 1996, Richard has specialised in financial advisory services providing expert advice in valuations, corporate advisory and mergers and acquisitions. He was admitted as a partner of the firm in July 2000.

In the course of his client work, he has also worked on projects in Zurich, Calgary, Madrid, Johannesburg, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Auckland, Jakarta, Port Moresby, Suva, Tokyo, Bangkok, South America and Shanghai.

Richard was Chair of the NSW Regional Council of the ICAA and was the founding and longstanding chair of the Business Valuation Special Interest Group of that Organisation. He also served on the ACT regional council.

Richard’s expertise in valuation and financial analysis has been recognised externally by his appointment as an Adjunct professor in this area in the Business School of the University of Technology, Sydney and also his membership of the Australian Valuation Standards Committee (previously Board).
