Fernanda Díaz-Rodríguez is a financial valuation specialist with proven track record in complex and exotic valuation modeling, designing and delivering accurate financial valuation methodologies and regulatory compliance across multiple geographic regions, incorporating risk valuation adjustments (XVAs) to Mark-to-Market and fair values while building business intelligence.

She has a strong background in Quantitative Finance with a Master Degree and an ongoing PhD and more than 15 years of professional experience. Responsible for multi-million-dollar derivatives and commodities portfolios valuation and recognized for minimizing risks by solving, managing, and preventing valuation issues while expanding the exotic derivatives portfolio offer.

Among the positions she has performed are: Director of Valuation and Market Data at BBVA Bancomer in Mexico City, Quant of Fixed-Income Derivatives at Intermoney Valora in Madrid, Trader of futures and commodities in the U.S. and Canadian markets, and Data Analyst of energy markets at the Mexican Energy Ministry. More recently, teacher of Financial Instruments Valuation, Derivatives and Market Risk at the school of the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV) and Committee Member of WILD, Women In Listed Derivatives, for the Latam region.
