Dirk Hennig

Dirk Hennig is a Deals partner at PwC and is the lead partner of the PwC German Property, Plant and Equipment valuation group. He has more than 24 years' experience in the valuation of real estate, plant and machinery and business enterprises, with practical working experience across Europe, North America, Asia and Africa.

Dirk has been involved in several transactions, restructuring and valuation projects in the energy and mining sector, chemical industry, steel production as well as in the food and beverage industry.

He was responsible for numerous international valuation projects in conjunction with IFRS requirements as well as US GAAP and German GAAP.

In his role as a valuation expert, he reported to public supervisory boards on specific valuation questions and provided expert opinions.

Dirk was a member of the working group for the Standard IDW S10 “Valuation of real estate” at the IDW (Institute of Public Auditors in Germany). He is also a member of the Board of BVS Federal Association of Publicly Appointed, Sworn and Qualified Experts, Germany and Head of the Federal Department of Machinery, Installations, Operating Equipment and member of the ZIA e.V. (German Property Federation) working group “Accounting and Valuation”.

In 2004, Dirk becam a publicly certified Expert for Valuation of Machinery, licensed by the German Chamber of Commerce and a certified expert in international real estate valuation by the EBS business school, Oestrich-Winkel.
