IVSC Chair, Alistair Darling, recently joined an RICS discussion looking at the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on markets, geopolitics and the global economy.

Drawing on his experience as Chancellor of the Exchequer in the UK during the last global financial crisis, Alistair shared his thoughts on the latest developments and economic measures aimed at steadying global markets.

Moderated by RICS Director of Thought Leadership and member of the IVSC MSRB, Ken Creighton, the discussion also captures the thoughts of Andrew Tilton, Chief Economist (Asia) at Goldman Sachs; Susanne Eickermann-Riepe, Real Estate Leader at PwC Germany; and Simon Rubinsohn, Chief Economist at RICS.

The IVSC has produced a video of the discussion which you can access here.
